Starters may be a classic bruschetta, chilli mussels or an antipasto. Pastas such as fettuccine and gnocchi are made in house, with sauces that cannot hide their origins. Traditional Genovese style pesto is teamed with sun-dried tomatoes and served with any pasta diners choose and black truffles, champignons and herb and provolone sauce are stars on a fettuccine.
Pizzas are made with stone ground flour and natural yeast in true artisan fashion, and toppings stay true to the spirit of authenticity, with imported Italian prosciutto, double smoked ham, peppers, chilli and onion are just some toppings for you to choose from.
A look at the menu or blackboard confirms seafood and meat dishes as the drawcards. Salmon, Barramundi and Swordfish feature as well as Veal served in typical Italian style with mushroom and black truffles in a herb cream sauce, or simply caramelised with an orange marsala sauce.
Lamb cutlets come with garlic, vinegar, and rosemary in a white wine sauce with double smoked ham, mushrooms and green peppercorns. A good wine list is offered, along with a selection of Italian liqueurs and homemade desserts to complement.
